You voted and here’s what was chosen!
A long time a go in a galaxy far, far, away, we ran a poll to see what our listeners and fans wanted to be called. Doctor Who fans are called Whovians, Star Trek fans are called Trekkers or Trekkies, and we wanted to get a name that we could call our fans! We ran a poll on our Facebook page and we were supposed to have chosen a winner by April 13, we ran a little over that by mistake due to life in general and our intern forgot to poke us with a stick (that’s right, blame the intern).
We had a long list of names that were initially submitted to us by fans and staff members, after a weeks worth of votes and emailed feedback, we whittled it down to about five choices. Those choices were put on our Facebook page for voting, and the slightly forgotten (we still blame the intern) votes were tallied. The winning name to call our fans is: KRYPTICS

- New Sons of Krypton (Needs to be gender neutral, but not bad none the less)

- K-Nets (Reference to our being on the internet, we guess?)
- Radio-Heads (This might be taken already, but good suggestion anyway)

- Super K’s (That’s a convenience store, isn’t it? LoL)

- Krypton’s Heroes
- Secret Identities

So as of Monday, April 23, 2012. The officially chosen name for our fans, based on feedback from you the public and our staff members, is: KRYPTICS
Is this set in stone? Maybe, maybe not. We’re still open to suggestions, but we’re on a time crunch as within a few months time we’re going to initiate plans to take over the world with Star Trek crazed gerbils produce promotional material such as t-shirts, stickers, etc; and we’d like to make sure we have a fan name that the majority will like using!
