Gangnam Klingon Style
A few days ago we gave you the video of PSY’s “Gangnam Style”. We knew it was just a matter of time before some very fun send-ups of it started to appear, and odds were good somebody would do a Star Trek one. We’ve gotten so good at filk spotting that we see it now before it even happens.
Sure enough. Today we present the work of Comediva.com, led by director Emily McGregor, who have created a nearly-four-minute-long “Gangnam Style” parody video called… “Klingon Style.”
The song is performed almost entirely in Klingon, and throughout there are all kinds of tips of the cap to Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation. You’ll see Klingons, of course, but also Will Riker, Deanna Troi and Data, Vulcans, tribbles and a number of other fun Trek references.
Yes, this song is now on Krypton Radio. How could we possibly resist?
