This past week we upgraded our server so that it has double the memory it used to have. This means we’ll be able to handle our huge traffic surges with ease now, and we’ll be able to support more radio listeners than ever before!
Only one problem – somehow we lost our ability to support live DJ’s for the time being. That means that Gary DaBaum’s show didn’t air on schedule this evening because of the technical difficulties.
Our highly trained team of specialist chimpanzees are busy banging rocks together like mad, so we should have a solution before Gary’s show on Sunday. In the meantime, the regular radio programs are all fine and dandy, so you won’t miss X-Minus 1 tonight.
Thanks for your patience, and keep listening to Krypton Radio. It all gets better from here.

Personally, I apologize for the length of dead air while I was cursing at my computer thinking it was on my end. Thankfully, Gene and Susan both were IM’ing me as we worked together to weed out the problem.
At the same time, this line from Jurassic Park ran through my head:
“All major theme parks have delays. When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked!”
“Yeah, but, John, if The Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don’t eat the tourists”
Of course, after seeing the Pirates Of The Caribbean films……I wouldn’t be too sure about that.
