Ready for some Doctor Who goodness? The popular series Torchwood is a spinoff from BBC One’s Doctor Who, and Captain Jack Harkness is the immortal who is its central character. Bill Martin, otherwise known as Dr. Noise specializes in a music genre called “trock” – you guessed it, it’s short for “timelord rock”. As the world’s only full-on science fiction and comic book radio station, we can’t help but love this song about Captain Harkness.
Dr. Noise’s music is not only well performed, but it’s well informed. His understanding of music, both in composition and performance, raises the bar for fan-made music to a whole new level. Have a listen. We think you’ll agree.
