The new movie Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol 2. is coming out really really soon.  May 5, 2017 soon. So, you’d think we’d seen the last trailer we’re going to see until it releases, but have we got a treat for you.

The entirety of Trailer has been recreated for you by Huxley Berg Studios – in LEGO. Use the tuner control in our web site’s header to pause the SCIFI.radio stream while you watch this. Dueling sound tracks isn’t as much fun as you’d think.

Every scene from the trailer has been recreated, and as fun as the live action trailer is, watching LEGO minifigs go through all the lines and moves is fun in a way that only a true geek can fully appreciate. And to put this in perspective, this whole thing was done by one guy. Huxley has a lot of these LEGO recreation clips on his YouTube channel, but this one has made its appearance just today. James Gunn, the director of the real movie, found Huxley’s work, loved it, and reposted it in his Twitter feed – and now you can repost it from SCIFI.radio’s site in your Twitter feed.

Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 is directed and written by James Gunn, has a list of writer credits for character creation and comic book source material, stars Chris Pratt as Peter Quill / Starlord, Zoe Saldano as Gamora, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Racoon, and Kurt Russel as Ego, the Living Planet. Once again, it releases May 5.
