Marc Gunn is no stranger to regular listeners of SCIFI.radio. We’ve got lots of cuts from his Firefly Drinking Songs album in our on-air library. But you know that Marc is also the lead singer of the Kilted Kings?

Kilted Kings is a Celtic trio that has performed several times at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival, consisting of Marc on the autoharp, String (who bears an uncanny resemblance to a Klingon) as fiddler, and drummer Randy Wothke on the doumbek and bodhrán .
Kilted Kings performed at the opening weekend of the Mid-South Renaissance Faire, October 13 & 14, 2018, in Millington, TN, and will be returning for the final weekend, October 20 & 21.
Marc has approximately 20 albums, which, just as the whole of Gaul, are divided into three parts: celtic, filk, and Renfaire. Marc announced that he is planning a Blue Sun Holiday Spectacular, a Firefly Christmas album to be released in December, with six or more performances planned to promote the new album. This should turn out well, as he has performed in the past at DragonCon, Gen Con, Shadow Con, and MidSouthCon. He mentioned the possibility of a future Firefly song tour, above and beyond the six performances, to promote the Firefly holiday album.
