Second Life’s Cultures
Second Life’s Cultures: Crossing the Barrier
Second Life allows users to reach beyond many traditional borders. Each of us are members of a diverse and unique community. Part of the Second Life experience allows you to meet and learn from others who may be completely different from yourself. It is important to respect that our differences truly enhance the world we share. To navigate the cultures within SL, this notecard has been placed together to provide you with communication tools and locations.
Translators: Enabling you to Communicate
These devices are extremely helpful with communicating to residents who have a different native language than your own. Note, these are resources for residents to consider for translators. About the Justice League Unlimited:
============
The Justice League Unlimited (JLU) in Second Life in (SL) is a public service organization who pattern their avatars after classic comic book heroes. While JLU members may model their avatars after these fictional personas, the JLU is not a super-hero role-playing group. The mission of the JLU is to provide mentoring and render aid to SL residents in need, primarily new residents, in such areas as building, scripting and security. The JLU often acts as a neighborhood watch organization. We also hold seminars and conventions on public safety, and help estate managers learn effective techniques for keeping their own lands safe.
