Contacting Us – F.A.Q:
Q: What’s your preferred method of contact?
A: e-Mail, always. Fastest way to get a hold of one of us. Most of our staff like any typical nerd/geek person, checks their mail probably 30-40 times a day.
Q: How fast will you respond to my e-mail?
A: In as little as 10 minutes, or up to 24 hours. It depends on how busy our staff are at the moment. We do actually answer all messages sent to us, so if for whatever reason you didn’t get a response within 48 hours, please e-mail it again. It’s possible our digital dog ate your mail.
Q: Who should I contact?
A: If you want to just send general e-mail, use our main station address.
Writers looking for employment, or persons needing to speak with management; send a message to our Editor’s Desk. (Note to Writers: You must provide a working telephone number and your full legal name in order to work with us, you are permitted to publish under a pen-name for privacy’s sake. Those paid for articles must have a valid PayPal account.)
Companies interested in adding us to their mailing lists (actual mail, not spam) contact the Editor’s Desk and we’ll send you an e-mail with a special contact address only for Press Issues.
Q: If I actually mail you something, will I get it back if you don’t want it?
A: Sorry no, this is mainly due to postage costs. If you want to send us snail-mail, then go for it, but what you send us can not be returned, unless you’ve set up a prior arrangement regarding whatever you’re sending us.
Q: I have a manuscript or a comic book I created and want to talk to you about it, will you help me get it published?
A: First, we’re primarily a Radio Station, and as such we do not provide publishing services (yet – stay tuned on that one, we have plans for the future). We’re more than happy to review your work if you don’t mind sending us a copy; we love to support the independent artists. Be aware that this is not a guarantee that someone will see your work on our site and hire you on the spot. We are not liable to you for unsold work product, in the event we decide to run a story on it and you don’t get any offers. We will NOT publish your work in part or in whole without your prior written consent, and submission of your work is NOT a guarantee that it will be featured or reviewed on our website.
Second, If you do submit your work to us, please provide a return self-addressed stamped envelope with appropriate postage if you desire your work returned to you. If you don’t do this, it will just sit on a shelf until we run out of space and we may have to trash it at some point; any work featured on our site will be preserved unless that artist provided an envelope so it could be returned. If we have to trash any work submitted to us, it will be disposed of appropriately so that some dumpster diver can’t steal your copyrighted content.
Q: What happens if I call you on the phone?
A: Our lovely receptionist will answer the phone and scream at you like a wookie. Assuming she’s not lost in the break-room, doing something not meant for human eyes. Hey.. we don’t discriminate.
