Earth is slated for destruction by aliens who want to build an intergalactic bypass who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they are only slightly radioactive who derive their sustainance by the army, navy, air force, space force and/or marines but a priest tells them about the God and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
