Earth is invaded by a swarm of sentient nanobots pneumatic five legged cyborg chickens who understand us all too well even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who tend to stutter under pressure when confronted by the army, navy, air force, space force and/or marines but they fall in love with a young girl and they die anyway.
