Earth transforms into a giant game board for cosmic chess matches who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they have seen every episode of Firefly and cannot be destroyed by a bunch of Elvis impersonators but one cunning young man somehow convinces them that people are okay and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
