The catch is the price: Casey Putsch of Putsch Racing is selling this amazing car for only $620,000. Ummmm, yeah, better check to see if this is one of those months with an extra paycheck in it. You may need it.
The vehicle is a replica of the car driven by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton’s 1989 movie Batman and is touted as the “world’s only turbine-powered bat car.”
Putsch says the car, built this year, features 365-horsepower Boeing turboshaft engine and a centrally mounted touch-screen iPad with 3G and is able to run on jet, kerosene or diesel fuel. It was built in a professional racing facility alongside Grand Prix, DTM, Indy and Sports Racing cars.
“Having a perfect reliability record, this car is ready to be enjoyed by an enthusiast who is looking for the ultimate luxury in one-upmanship,” Putsch writes in the eBay listing, adding that the vehicle’s “construction is in a completely different league than both replicas and of course the movie prop cars.”
The car also won the People’s Choice Award at the Ault Park Concours d’Elegance and has been seen on various TV programs. You can see Putsch driving this amazing vehicle in the video below.
What? Of course we want one. Wouldn’t you?
