Whedonopolis and Fandom Charities are proud to announce their 4th Annual Halloween Charity Screening of The Guild & Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog on Saturday, October 22nd at 8:00 PM.  Each year Fandom Charities  supports a different worthy charity – this year it’s Kids Need to Read, a charity which helps obtain books for libraries in need to support literacy in children.

It’s Halloween, so if you live in the Los Angeles area, prepare to slip on those gloves, don your mad scientist goggles and come as your favorite villain, henchman, hero or sidekick, and have fun!

The screening is also the only place to buy drawing tickets for amazing prizes including Dr. Horrible Blu-Rays signed by Joss Whedon, Guild DVDs signed by the entire cast, a limited edition Willow statue with a value of $225.00, limited edition Inara’s Shuttle and Reavers Ship ornaments, and so, so much more! Get your chance for only $1!

Tickets are now on sale. Click here for more information.

This year’s screening will be held at the Regency Valley Plaza 6 Theatre in North Hollywood, CA, and will include Season 4 of Felicia Day’s hit Internet series, The Guild.

Tickets for the event will cost $20.00 and includes the traditional Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Interactive Goodie & Swag bag designed to encourage audience participation, as well as special commemorative items and prizes from participating sponsors.

And while the Doc turned his bling into cumin-scented secret sauce, you can enter our drawings for fabulous Whedon-related prizes.  Drawing tickets are a buck a pop, and the more you enter, the better your chances of winning!! (Please note that drawing tickets will only be sold at the event).

Regency Valley Plaza Theatre is located at 6355 Bellingham Ave. in North Hollywood, CA. 91606 with FREE on-site parking and the return of the recession-friendly $1 hot dog.
