Praise the weather and pass the pumpkin spices, fall is (un)officially here! And so are the latest and greatest fall TV lineups for September! How many pairs of handcuffs can you get out of? If your IQ is greater than Einstein’s, how would you use it to help the world? Hail HYDRA! Or, you know, don’t. Dust off that jacket if you’re going to visit Storybrooke. Pack your best zombie destroying gear, pay a visit to rookie Jim Gordon, and hey, Ichabod Crane will teach you the real history of our great nation!

Where: History Channel

When: Sept. 1 and 2, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central (replay of part one on Sept. 2, at 7 p.m./6:00 p.m. Central)

What IS it: The story of the life of the greatest escape artist and magician who ever lived, the incomparable Houdini!

Why YOU should watch it: Did I mention it was Houdini? Adrien Brody plays him, Kristen Connolly plays his wife Bess, and the show even shows how Houdini did some of his tricks!

Where: CBS

When: Monday, Sept. 22, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: An elite group of geniuses very outside societal norms, gets hired to work for the government under Jason Patrick!

Let the Genius flow: Who doesn’t want to see an equivalent of real-life Heroes do a CSI-like show? The show is even based on a true story!

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Where: ABC

When: Tuesday, Sept. 23, 9:00 p.m./8:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: Marvel’s most famous TV show (at the moment) returns to us for Season two!

What’s Agent Coulson up to now: Who hasn’t seen those mysterious coded billboards here and there? HYDRA is still around, Coulson and the gang still need to hunt them all down, and we’re still waiting with baited breath to see which Marvel character will make a drop-in appearance on the show!

‘Once Upon a Time’

Where: ABC

When: Sunday, Sept. 28, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: Welcome back to Storybrooke, for a Frozen Season four!

Brrr! It’s COLD in here: Yes yes, everyone who saw the previous season finale knows that Storybrooke (not hell) has frozen over. After the previous seasons’ bout with Wicked vs. Evil, let’s see what funnery Elsa can bring us!

‘Z Nation’

Where: Syfy Channel

When: Friday, Sept. 12, 10:00 p.m./9:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: A new contender for a zombie series from Syfy, that’s what!

Never enough zombies: Three years after the zombie plague has devastated the world, a band of ragtag survivors has to lead the only known survivor of the plague from New York to California, to a lab in the hopes of a vaccine. Good working premise for me!

Where: FOX

When: Sunday, Sept. 7, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: “If you could restart the world, what would you do differently?”

Is that really your paradise: Based on the hit Dutch program, Utopia takes 14 pioneering Americans, moves them to a remote location, and bids them start society from scratch. Limited supplies, diverse backgrounds, wildly conflicting ideologies, and hey you’ve got a gameshow!

Where: FOX

When: Monday, Sept. 22, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: Before there was Batman, Catwoman, The Joker and all the rest, there was the city of Gotham and the many stories told therein!

Why YOU should drool over yet more DC TV: It’s the origin stories of all our most beloved DC-Batman characters, including Commissioner Gordon, long before he was ever Commissioner, tossed together in a show. What’s not to love?!

‘Sleepy Hollow’

Where: FOX

When: Monday, Sept. 22, 8:00 p.m./7:00 p.m. Central

What IS it: Season Two of Sleepy Hollow returns to us with more Apocalyptic monsters, secrets and betrayal!

Why YOU should return to watching Ichabod and Abbie: Who doesn’t want to discover more paranormal secrets and supernatural baddies hidden in our nations history?
