Science fiction is all about playing with ideas, and asking all sorts of “what if” questions. We find new ways of looking at old situations and explore new worlds of possibility. This adventurous pursuit is part of what keeps society ticking along. Sometimes the questions are serious. Sometimes they’re more playful than anything else.

Today’s question is, “what would modern music sound like on musical instruments from half a millennium ago?”  The answer, surprisingly, is: “Pretty good.”

The group is Stary Olsa, a band that uses medieval instruments to do modern covers, and they sound amazing! This video clip shows them performing Pink Floyd’s Another Brick in the Wall for a Belarusian TV show Legends Live on ONT channel.
