If you’ve played any of the Legend of Zelda game series, you’ve probably thought about it. What would happen if somebody took these characters and made a full length feature animation from it? And wouldn’t Studio Ghibli be the obvious choice?
One gifted illustrator / animator and fan of the series asked that question too. He started by making a series of movie posters suggesting that the idea was at least possible. Then he made the trailer.
Nintendo is ready to start looking at having third parties make movies of their stuff, and The Legend of Zelda is an obvious pick for something like that.
