We now have our official first look at The Inhumans from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Marvel’s The Inhumans.

Adorning the photo are military leader Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor, Extant), strategist Karnak (Ken Leung, Lost), King Black Bolt (Anson Mount, Non-Stop), Queen Medusa (Serinda Swan, TRON: Legacy), Crystal (Isabelle Cornish, Sea of Fire) and schemer Maximus (Iwan Rheon, Game of Thrones).

Not in the photo are Triton (Mike Moh, Street Fighter: Resurrection), Auran (Sonya Balmores), Agon (Michael Buie, The Outer Limits) and Rynda (Tanya Clarke, Repo Men).

Originally, in 2014 Marvel Studios announced they were developing the Inhuman Royal Family into a film, to be released in November 2018. The Inhumans were later introduced on the ABC television series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.LD., where they had a mostly positive audience response. In April 2016, Marvel Studios pulled the Inhumans film from their release schedule, and by November it was announced that the Inhuman Royal Family would be developed into a television series.

The pilot episode has been filmed partly on IMAX cameras, because it will screen in IMAX theaters around the world for two weeks, starting on September 1, 2017. After this theatrical run, the Inhumans series will premiere on ABC on September 26.

In the comics, the Inhuman Royal Family first appeared in Fantastic Four #45 in 1965, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
