After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin. But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save. With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.
His new foe seems to have all Luke Cage’s powers and abilities, and appears at least a match for Mike Colter’s portrayal of the man with unbreakable skin. He’s super-strong, and he’s as bulletproof as the main man himself.
We also get to see Misty Knight put that cyborg arm, for which she’s well known in the comics, to good use smacking down bad guys. Well — they sort of go up first, and then down, but you get the idea.
How far will Luke Cage go to take the bad guys out? Where is that line between hero and villain?
The second season premieres on Netflix on June 22nd.
