Tueday, March 23, 2021, Thaddeus Howze guests on The Blerdgirl, with host Karama Horne on her Twitch channel, night we will talking about Zack Snyder’s Justice League, his unfinished, much maligned, yet surprisingly good production which appeared recently on HBOMax. The polarizing work has the movie industry up in arms with fans and critics battling to promote or deride the final production.

Personally, I don’t spend much time thinking about Zack Snyder but was pleased to know his movie was not only superior to the 2017 production of Justice League but also showcased the talents of Ray Fisher and made the issues of Henry Cavill’s “mustache-gate” a thing of the past.

We are also going to discuss the latest Disney and Marvel release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which opened last week with a rollicking battle sequence reminding us why the Falcon was an Avenger in the first place. Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan reprise their roles in this exploration of the MCU after the Avengers return three billion people to a destabilized Earth. The first episode left me with so many questions…

In my identity as the Answer-Man I still write essays for SCIFI.radio and promote my podcast for The Good Men Project, Climate Change by the Elements.

After Karama and I finish our dance, she will be bringing the show-stopping Taneka Stotts to the stage. Taneka has spent years as a writer, spoken word artist, editor and comic book publisher before switching her focus to television and animation.

Taneka continued to bring the fire becoming an Emmy-nominated story editor working in the animation industry. Her past writing credits include her work on Steven Universe Future, Craig of the Creek, and My Little Pony: Pony Life.
Taneka Stotts is also the editor of the Eisner-winning anthology “ELEMENTS: Fire – A Comic Anthology By Creators of Color!”
