Earth is targeted by a previously undiscovered asteroid storm which was actually created by aliens who perceive us only as a food even though they all do bad impressions of William Shatner who derive their sustainance by a slap to the side of the head with a large fish , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work but they die from catching the common cold.
