Earth contracts a case of cosmic amnesia, forgetting everything that happened yesterday except for weasels who perceive us only as a food even though they smell really bad and cannot be destroyed by a slap to the side of the head with a large fish , but scientists create a new weapon which does not work so they eat us all.
