Earth suddenly spawns protoplasmic beings who are friendly but incomprehensible even though they can all do credible singing impressions of Ethel Merman who derive their sustainance by a bunch of kids playing disco music on boom boxes but they fall in love with a young girl and they are taken in by a kindly old lady who mistakes them for lost children.
